Configuring Form Validation Settings
You can create and configure three different form types of the Metadata Manager:
- Table Properties: The form would be applicable to the Table Properties tab of a table.
- Column Properties: The form would be applicable to the Column Properties tab of a column.
- Environment Properties: The form would be applicable to the Environment Properties tab of an environment.
To create forms, follow these steps:
- Go to Application Menu > Miscellaneous > Settings > Miscellaneous > Form Validation Settings.
- Click

- Enter appropriate values in the fields. Fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory. Refer to the following table for field descriptions.
- Click Save & Exit.
The following page appears.

The Add Form page appears.

Description |

Form Name |
Specifies the unique name of the form. For example, Adventureworks Metadata. |
Description |
Specifies the description about the form. For example: The form is to validate metadata in the Adventureworks environment. |
Form Type |
Specifies the type of the form. For example, Table Properties - Metadata Manager. |
The form is created and saved in the form list.
